Crowdfunding Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before making a pledge to our campaign.

1. Understanding Crowdfunding

By pledging to our campaign, you understand and agree that:

  • Crowdfunding is not a traditional purchase. You are supporting the development of a product that is still being created.
  • Rewards are provided as a thank-you for your support, not as a commercial transaction.
  • There are inherent risks in crowdfunding, including the possibility of delays, changes to the final product, or in extreme cases, project cancellation.

2. Campaign Goals

Our campaign has funding goals that determine what features and rewards we can deliver:

  • Minimum Goal: If we reach our minimum funding goal, we will proceed with development and deliver the core product and rewards.
  • Stretch Goals: Additional features and rewards may be unlocked if we exceed our funding goals. These are aspirational and depend on additional funding.

3. Reward Fulfillment

  • Estimated delivery dates are good-faith projections based on current development timelines and may change.
  • We will communicate any significant delays or changes through campaign updates.
  • Physical rewards will be shipped to the address you provide. You are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
  • Digital rewards will be delivered to the email address associated with your pledge.

4. Changes to Rewards

We reserve the right to make changes to rewards if necessary, including:

  • Minor modifications to physical item designs or materials
  • Feature adjustments to digital products based on technical requirements
  • Substitution of equivalent rewards if specific items become unavailable

We will notify backers of any significant changes and offer alternatives where possible.

5. Use of Funds

Funds raised through this campaign will be used for:

  • Product development and engineering
  • Design and user experience improvements
  • Infrastructure and hosting costs
  • Reward production and fulfillment
  • Marketing and community building
  • Operational expenses

6. Communication

By pledging, you agree to receive:

  • Campaign updates and progress reports
  • Important announcements about rewards and delivery
  • Surveys for collecting shipping information

You may opt out of marketing communications, but transactional emails about your pledge cannot be unsubscribed.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, and intellectual property associated with MealMint remain the property of MealMint and its creators. Backing the campaign does not grant any ownership or licensing rights to our intellectual property.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to the amount of your pledge.
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to supply chain issues, shipping delays, or force majeure events.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from this campaign will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
