Important information about refunds and cancellations for crowdfunding pledges.

Crowdfunding vs. Purchases

When you back our campaign, you're supporting the creation of MealMint. Unlike a traditional purchase, crowdfunding involves some level of risk as we work to bring our vision to life. We're committed to delivering on our promises, but delays and changes can occur.

Cancellation During Campaign

You may cancel your pledge at any time before the campaign ends. Cancelled pledges will be fully refunded within 5-7 business days.

To cancel your pledge:

1. Log into your account on our platform
2. Navigate to your pledge details
3. Click "Cancel Pledge"
4. Confirm cancellation

After Campaign Ends

Once the campaign has successfully ended and funds have been collected, refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to decline refund requests after the campaign period.

Eligible for Refund

• If we are unable to deliver the promised rewards
• If there are significant changes to the product that differ from what was promised
• Exceptional circumstances at our discretion

Not Eligible for Refund

• Change of mind after campaign completion
• Minor delays in delivery (up to 3 months from estimated date)
• Minor changes to reward specifications

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective physical reward, please contact us within 14 days of receipt with photos of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at our discretion.

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund after the campaign has ended, please email us at support@mealmint.io with:

• Your pledge confirmation number
• The email address used for your pledge
• Reason for refund request

We will respond to refund requests within 5 business days.
